Glamorous Disneyland restaurant Napa Rose is reopening on Friday after a 10-month renovation, reimagining its fine-dining experience that made it a foodie favorite at the park for a quarter century.
The wine country-inspired restaurant, located inside Disney’s ritzy Grand Californian Hotel, has completely overhauled its design — with the exception of the exhibition kitchen and its iconic sign by the front door, the Orange County Register reported.
Some 3,800 wine bottles from around the world stashed in climate-controlled cabinets line the walls of the main dining room, which has been transformed from an open floor to small, intimate nooks for guests looking to escape the buzz of the theme park.
Reclaimed French oak floors and columns, complimented by a grapevine-looking chandelier, dominate the refurbished dining room.
The chef’s counter, where chefs prepare each specially curated course, offers diners a view into the kitchen and has been expanded to double the amount of seating previously available.
A private dining room has been moved from the back of the restaurant to the front, according to the Register.
Both the main dining room and chef’s counter will have exclusively fixed-price meals with a wide array of options for each course.
The seasonal menu will start at a fixed price of $188 per person in the main dining room and $250 per person at the chef’s counter with optional wine pairings at $150, $300 or $500.
In the new lounge by the bar, diners can grab small bits a la carte with wine, beer and cocktails.
Napa Rose also now features two outdoor patios with stone fireplaces and new lighting and heating. One connects to the dining room and the other to the bar.

Napa Rose was awarded four stars in the 2025 Forbes Travel Guide and has also won Wine Spectator’s
“Best of” Award of Excellence.
The highly anticipated reopening comes after a lengthy remodeling which was plagued by delays.
Napa Rose closed in April 2025, promising a “luxurious transformation” that took longer than expected — with the planned return date pushed back from fall 2025 to early 2026, according to the Register.
The restaurant has already begun accepting advanced reservations for the main dining room and chef’s counter. The lounge and bar will be open for walk-ins.
Disneyland did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
