An armed group of men attempted to rob a teenager just steps from the mayor’s Gracie Mansion residence on Saturday night, according to the NYPD.

A 14-year-old boy was set upon by a group of four men on East 88th Street and East End Avenue just after 8 p.m. Saturday — right outside the mayor’s lush, city-provided pad, the NYPD said.

Those brutes threatened the boy with a “sharp object” and demanded his belongings while surrounding him inside Carl Schurtz Park, which is adjacent to the Gracie Mansion Conservancy on the Upper East Side.

The 14-year-old resisted the group’s demands and called police who arrived shortly after the attempted armed robbery, cops said.

The boy avoided both being robbed and being injured, denying medical attention from first responders at the scene.

All four suspects fled the scene through Carl Schurtz Park, according to cops.

Police are currently searching for the suspects.
