Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were spotted dining together.

In footage obtained by TMZ, the twosome sat at a table inside restaurant Le Violon in Montreal on Monday, July 28. At one point, Perry, 40, rested her face on her hands as she listened to Trudeau, 53.

Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Perry and Trudeau for comment.

Perry, who has been traveling for her Lifetimes Tour, is set to perform at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on Tuesday, July 29.

Us broke the news in June that Perry and Orlando Bloom had called off their engagement after nearly a decade together.

“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”

The insider noted that Perry and Bloom’s split has been “a long time coming,” adding that their relationship has been “tense for months.” (Perry and Bloom share 4-year-old daughter Daisy. Bloom is also the dad of son Flynn, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.)

The source shared that Perry is “keeping busy” on tour and “is distracted.” Perry and Orlando’s reps broke their silence on the split in July.

“Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” reps for the pair said in a joint statement to Us at the time. “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”

Us understands that Perry and Orlando’s split was mutual and occurred as far back as the beginning of the year. After the pair’s split, Orlando shared a sweet photo of their blended family with Perry, Daisy and Flynn. “Dump 4 ya 🤍,” he captioned the July Instagram post.

Trudeau, for his part, announced in 2023 that he and wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau ended their marriage after 18 years.

“Hi everyone. Sophie and I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate,” Trudeau wrote via Instagram at the time. “As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build.”

He concluded, “For the well-being of our children, we ask that you respect our and their privacy. Thank you.” (The exes share Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.)

Trudeau served as Canada’s prime minister from 2015 until March of this year. He announced his plans to resign in January.
