Bronwyn Newport and estranged husband Todd Bradley are in very different headspaces following their separation, leaving her with questions about what’s next.
“Todd and I are tricky. We’ve been together for a long time,” Newport, 40, shared during the Wednesday, February 11, episode of SiriusXM’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa” podcast. “I do really love Todd.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star explained that over the “last year specifically” she and Bradley, 66, weathered more storms than they expected before going their separate ways in December 2025.
In addition to Newport’s mom being sick, her father died, and then “right on the heels of that” she turned 40.
“I woke up tired,” Newport told host Kelly Ripa of the day after her birthday. She recalled having a lightbulb moment of thinking, “I don’t want to go around and around and around again.”
Then, the new season of RHOSLC premiered, and she had to “rewatch the arguments” she had with Bradley play out on screen. While Newport claimed the reality show didn’t cause her and Bradley’s split, she noted that it didn’t help.
Now, she is having to figure out what’s next, and it isn’t easy.
“ Todd and I are separated, and it’s very difficult because our lives are so intertwined and so intermeshed after all this time together,” Newport explained. “And I hear him saying to me since I’ve asked for that separation that he wants to understand and he wants to do different[ly] and he wants to make it right, and there is a huge part of me that wants that for him.”
The fashion influencer insisted that she doesn’t want Bradley “to be hurt” by their relationship break.
“I do want us to be together. I’d love to just smooth it over and move forward,” Newport revealed. “There’s also a part of me that feels like some things you shouldn’t have to explain, some things you shouldn’t have to ask for. Some things should be, like, innately understood in such a close relationship.”
The Bravo personality confessed that she doesn’t “know” what’s to come. “I think I’m being very difficult for Todd right now because I don’t know what I want next,” Newport shared. “I think I just want some space and some time to think about it.”
When it comes to Bradley’s opinion on the topic, Newport said, “He would like to go back to how close and happy we were and he’s willing to make some changes to get there.”
Newport, meanwhile, admitted she’s unsure that those changes will be enough to sustain their relationship for years to come.
“I think you maybe just as women, I don’t know if everybody feels this way, but I feel like as a 40-year-old woman that I don’t wanna have to tell someone how to fix things with me,” Newport concluded.
Since joining the cast of RHOSLC during season 5 in 2024, the cracks in Newport and Bradley’s marriage have been visible to fans.
During a December 2024 episode, Newport revealed that Bradley had been unfaithful to her and that her daughter, Gwen, from a prior relationship, was the one who uncovered the infidelity.
Newport later clarified on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that the cheating story was “a misunderstanding,” claiming she and Bradley “have different boundaries.”
“Todd never did anything physical with anybody. It wasn’t this big affair,” she explained in December 2024. “It was really that I was uncomfortable with how much he was talking with somebody who was very flirty with him.”
While Newport and Bradley overcame their issues at the time, their marriage problems were still evident during season 6 of the Bravo series, which premiered in 2025.
Before the season finale aired in December 2025, news broke that Newport and Bradley had separated after nine years of marriage.
Newport broke her silence about the split the following month, telling People, “I really care about Todd. That’s not something that turns off overnight. I want the very best for him. I really do want to be best friends with Todd.”
A source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month that Newport and Bradley “have been living apart for a while now,” adding that Newport “wants a divorce but knows it will take a long time.”
While their future is unknown, Newport has been keeping herself busy traveling all over the world for different events and has started seeing model Brandon Good.
Us confirmed on February 4 that Newport met Good, 32, through “mutual friends in the fashion industry,” and they only “started seeing each other recently.”
“Bronwyn seems very happy and has this aura about her,” a source exclusively told Us. “She is glowing.”
The pair, who were spotted on a date night in New York City on February 2 and in France for Paris Fashion Week, are “having fun right now,” the insider said.
“They are super cute together, and he is very protective over her in an endearing way,” the source added, noting that Newport is “enjoying herself.”
