A cozy Nantucket diner that doubles as a Chinese restaurant is being lauded as the luckiest place on Earth after it sold four lottery jackpot tickets of one to two million in just two years.

The Old South Diner, nestled on the tiny posh island in Massachusetts, unknowingly sold its fourth jackpot-winning ticket to resident Yancy Contreras Menjivar on Wednesday, the Nantucket Current reported.

Contreras Menjivar purchased a scratch-off in the “$2,000,000 Stacked” instant ticket game, a brand new installment in the state lottery. She won $2 million and readily accepted a one-time payout of $1.3 million, which she plans on putting into savings, the local outlet reported.

The diner, too, received a $20,000 bonus for selling the golden ticket.

Contreras Menjivar joined a coveted lineup of three other lucky lotto champs who all nabbed their winning tickets at the restaurant.

Jose Fontanez, a Bostonian, clinched the first $1 million prize through a $10 scratch ticket while vacationing on the island with his girlfriend on March 11, 2024, CBS News reported.

Just two months after Fontanez’s hefty payout, in May 2024, Garen Downie, of the coastal Cape Cod town Hyannis, claimed a $2 million prize on a $50 scratch ticket.

Then, in late August 2024, Nantucket local, chef Sean Durnin claimed a $1 million prize off a $20 ticket. He bought the winning scratch-off while popping into the diner between making food deliveries, the outlet reported.

Nantucket’s winning streak picked back up with Contreras Menjivar’s victory on Wednesday.

In total, the Old South Diner has collected $80,000 in bonuses through the winning lottery sales.
