Three people have died after the car they were travelling in crashed into a tree in Perth’s east on Saturday morning.
The vehicle was travelling along Stoneville Road near Timbertop Way and La Grange Road when it left the road at about 8.50am and crashed, fatally injuring all three occupants.
One witness said she saw the vehicle “careen” past her, veering into her lane.
“I think they over corrected and ended up sideways pinned between two trees,” she said.
The incident happened just before 9am on Saturday morning and multiple police, firefighters and ambulance officers attended the scene.
The road was closed as officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section examined the scene but has since opened.
More to come.
