President Trump lambasted the media Saturday over reports that Iran struck five US refueling planes at a US base in Saudi Arabia.

Trump tore into an “intentionally misleading headline” and took on claims the planes were no longer usable.

He ripped “terrible reporting” and “sick and demented people,” a day after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth blasted headlines he said were critical of the Iran mission.

“In actuality, the Base was hit a few days ago, but the planes were not ‘struck’ or ‘destroyed,’” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account from West Palm Beach, Florida, where he traveled Friday.

He said four of the five had “virtually no damage” and are already back in service.

One had “slightly more damage, but will be in the air shortly.”

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that five refueling tankers were struck during an Iranian missile strike on the Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia.

It said they were damaged but not fully destroyed.
