Two crashes – one involving five vehicles – have caused delays south of Brisbane, and left multiple people in hospital.
Ambulances were called at 5.53am to reports of a five vehicle pile-up on the Pacific Motorway at Loganholme.
One person was taken to Logan Hospital with leg injuries.
Another crash on the Pacific Motorway at nearby Eagleby minutes later involved two cars.
Two people were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Google Maps showed traffic on the road was still congested hours later, just before 8am.
Police and firefighters were called, but left the scene shortly after.
