A gunman is on the loose in the Los Angeles area after allegedly shooting a 40-year-old man dead, the LAPD has said.
The suspect, who has dreadlocks and was wearing a plaid shirt, gunned down the victim in a parking lot in the Studio City area around 11:18 a.m. on Sunday, according to authorities.
Cops said he fled the scene before the victim, who was found suffering from gunshot wounds, was pronounced dead.
The attack happened near the Universal/Studio City Metro Station at 10801 Ventura Blvd, officers said Sunday afternoon.
The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating.
