Türkiye’s historic cities, turquoise coastal waters, and bustling cultural scene have long offered travellers a destination that combines weekend breaks with beach escapes, delicious food as well as a rich heritage.
With its tourism offerings evolving all the time, a new wave of hotels and resorts are set to give visitors even more reason to return – or, like me, board a flight for the first time to visit.
Whether you’re looking for an ultra-luxurious stay or sleek new properties, here are some of the upcoming hotels in Türkiye to have on your radar.
Bulgari Resort & Mansions, Bodrum
Travellers will have to wait a while as this new luxury Bulgari property will not be opening until 2028. It will be located in Bodrum, in the heart of the picturesque Türkbükü coast, where yachts and marinas are a common sight.
A short distance away from Bodrum’s bustling boutiques and entertainment centres, the Bulgari Resort & Mansions will feature 43 rooms and suites, alongside 40 standalone villas. Guests will be spoilt for choice of culinary concepts, including Bulgari’s La Spiaggia restaurant, Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, as well as Hoseki Japanese restaurant where dishes are served with a side of sweeping views as standard.
For those looking to get on the property ladder at an exclusive residential address, 101 Bulgari mansions will also feature as part of this development. With a choice of four mansion types offering between three and six bedrooms, the outdoor landscapes will include an infinity pool, as well as a garden that extends to a private beach.
NG Sign Hotel, Bodrum
This villa hotel is set to open in 2027, offering accommodation options ranging from two- and six-bedroom stays with plenty of glass surfaces – letting in the sun all throughout the day.
The Sign Villa can house up to 14 people across six bedrooms. Guests can also enjoy views from the large 300 square-metre private garden area. Whatever the season, the infinity pool is set to have both heating and cooling facilities.
Meanwhile, for smaller travel parties, NG Sign’s one-bedroom suites can accommodate two people and will feature ceramic flooring and wall tiles, as well as terraces for an ideal spot for viewing Bodrum’s horizon.
The hotel is set to have fitness, yoga and meditation areas alongside the Aliva Spa, where guests will be able to take full advantage of open-air massages alongside sea views, hammam treatments.
There will also be no shortage of dining spots, either. Guests will be able to have breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes at Egio Restaurant, seafood dinners at Ilios Restoran, pan-Asian cuisine at Signio, and sweet treats at Rosetta Patisserie.
Gist Istanbul, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
Slated to open in 2027, Hilton will be bringing 46 new keys to bustling Istanbul.
According to the hotelier, the Gist Istanbul, Tapestry Collection will be a stone’s throw away from the Bosphorus Strait, a 32-kilometre-long waterway connecting Europe and Asia, as well as Galataport, where visitors can enjoy waterfront dining, shopping and explore cultural hubs.
The hotel will also feature a restaurant and rooftop bar, and a fitness space for guests to use throughout their stay.
Also set to open next year is the brand’s Hilton Garden Inn Kocaeli Dilovasi in the country’s north west. It will feature 104 contemporary guest rooms, an in-house restaurant as well as wellness facilities, including an indoor pool, gym and Turkish hammam.
Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by Hilton
If 2027 and 2028 are too long of a wait, Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by Hilton opened its doors to guests this summer. On offer are a selection of 93 guestrooms and suites within the 1909-built Generali Han – a historic building on what was once Istanbul’s most important commercial hub, Bankalar Street.
Now restored and close by to destinations such as Taksim City Centre and the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, the property pays homage to its heritage with the Generali Han Suite accommodating up to three guests.
For rest and relaxation, the hotel’s La Calme Wellness area offers an array of treatments and therapies, including a steam room, sauna and cold plunge area. Meanwhile, the state-of-the-art gym is open 24 hours a day.
After working up an appetite, guests can either order room service or head to the Levantin Restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served. For lighter options, opt for Café du Temps, where Turkish sherbet, coffees and artisanal pastries can be enjoyed beneath the same ceiling that once hosted Istanbul’s bankers and merchants of old.
Fortuna of Cappadocia, Autograph Collection by Marriott Bonvoy
Nestled in the hillside village of Uçhisar, Marriott Bonvoy’s Fortuna of Cappadocia, Autograph Collection hotel also opened in 2026.
Overlooking Cappadocia’s extraordinary landscapes, the property includes 125 guest rooms and suites. It also features 28 private villas, with all stays designed to blend seamlessly with the surroundings, including its fairy chimneys.
The hotel’s Fortuna Table offers all-day dining inspired by the flavours of Cappadocia, while the Fortuna Terrace welcomes guests from the afternoon through to the evening, with Mediterranean offerings against a rooftop view.
Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, Curio Collection by Hilton
Cappadocia is also the location of Hilton’s first cave hotel.
Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, Curio Collection by Hilton features 36 keys, each with their own individual design, shaped by the original cave structure. Guests can choose between rooms with private pools, whirlpool baths, terraces and hot tubs, while the Elika Villa comes with a Turkish bath and sauna.
The hotel also boasts a gorgeous spa, with two treatment rooms, a hammam, steam room, sauna and rain shower as well as an outdoor pool.
On the food front, guests can try a mix of Cappadocian and Anatolian cuisine at Colastre.
