Officers from WA Police’s major crash unit are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a pedestrian in Perth’s east on Monday afternoon.
Police responded to reports of a serious crash involving a truck and the pedestrian on Maida Vale Road about 3.55pm on Monday.
“St John WA attended the scene and rendered first aid to the pedestrian, who later died,” a WA Police spokesperson said.
The man driving the truck was uninjured and is helping police with their inquiries, the spokesperson said.
