Three pedestrians mowed down as car smashes into California grocery store

Three people were hit Tuesday morning after a car crashed into a grocery store in California.

The incident happened at a Food 4 Less on Garvey Avenue in El Monte around 7:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

At least one person was rushed to a hospital in unknown condition.

There isn’t clarity surrounding whether those hit were inside our outside the Food 4 Less at the time.

Footage of the scene showed multiple police vehicles and that the car that crashed was still in the entrance of the store.

Police said that the driver stayed at the location afterwards.
