Travis Barker‘s upcoming documentary — which spans across seven years of his life — includes a cameo from his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

During the premiere of Travis Barker: Love Is Louder Than Fear at Tribeca Film Festival, which Us Weekly attended on Saturday, June 13, Barker, 50, reflected on various struggles he’s faced throughout his life, including his fear of flying after surviving a deadly jet crash in 2008 and his struggles with addiction.

Moakler, 51, for her part, made an appearance to talk about their marriage, which lasted from 2004 to 2008. She recalled Barker coming clean to her about him taking 20 to 30 painkillers a day at the height of his addiction. Barker also shared how concerned others were for him, with a security guard even watching him to make sure he didn’t die in his sleep.

Moakler was also seen through archive footage pulled from their reality show Meet the Barkers. The former couple’s kids — son Landon, 22, daughter Alabama, 20, and Moakler’s daughter Atiana, 27, whom she shares with Oscar De La Hoya — were featured prominently in the documentary as well.

According to the official synopsis, Travis Barker: Love Is Louder Than Fear follows the musician “as he embarks on a raw and redemptive journey, which started after surviving a devastating plane crash that nearly took his life.”

Barker’s relationship with now-wife Kourtney Kardashian — who was in the audience at the premiere on Saturday — was also documented as the pair recalled the early days of their romance.

Barker’s tell-all showed confessionals where the musician and Kardashian, 47, opened up for the first time about experiencing a miscarriage before they welcomed son Rocky.

The couple revealed that Kardashian got pregnant six months after they started dating in 2021. They were expecting a girl — who they were going to name Tulip — before Kardashian learned at a doctor’s appointment at the three-month mark that their baby no longer had a heartbeat.

“When we lost the baby, we were devastated,” Kardashian said in the documentary. “We cried for days.”

Kardashian broke down the pair’s continued efforts to get pregnant, which included five IVF attempts over eight months. They ultimately decided to press pause on the process before conceiving their son, Rocky, now 22 months.

Travis Barker: Love Is Louder Than Fear premieres on Hulu August 13.
