A man has suffered severe arm injuries after a group of home invaders allegedly stormed his property in Sydney’s south-west armed with bladed weapons.
The group of four men allegedly forced entry to a home in Greenacre just before 2am on Saturday, assaulting a man, 23, and demanding cash before fleeing in a dark SUV.
On arrival at the Banksia Avenue property, police found the man with severe injuries to his left arm.
He was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Four other occupants of the home, a man and a woman in their 40s and two males aged 16 and 19, were uninjured.
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
