A Perth music teacher faces child exploitation material charges after detectives investigated allegations he behaved inappropriately towards children.
Police executed a search warrant on the 34-year-old man’s Hillarys home and seized several electronic devices which allegedly contained child exploitation material.
A WA Police spokesperson said the man worked as a music teacher at several private schools in Perth, and also provided music tutoring outside school hours.
The spokesperson said the devices seized had undergone a preliminary analysis, but would be subject to further forensic examination.
The man has been charged with three counts of producing child exploitation material and two counts of indecently recording a child over 13 and under 16.
He is set to appear before Joondalup Magistrates Court on September 10.
