Three people have died after two cars collided head-on in Sydney’s south.

The crash between a white Audi sedan and blue Camry sedan occurred shortly after midnight on Rocky Point Road in Sans Souci, leaving one of the vehicles on its roof.

The Camry driver and a passenger and the Audi’s male driver all died at the scene, NSW Police said. They are all yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene has been established and police are investigating with assistance from officers in the Crash Investigations Unit.

Rocky Point Road has been closed in both directions between Fontainebleau Street and Holt Road, and there is no access to Captain Cook Bridge, Transport for NSW said. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use the Princes Highway including Tom Uglys Bridge to cross the Georges River.
