Alleged Arizona pervert faints in court after hearing he faces up to 100 years in prison for child sex crimes

An alleged Arizona pervert fainted in court when he heard he could spend up to a century in prison for felony child sexual exploitation charges, wild video shows.

The dramatic medical episode unfolded as Joshua James Lozano, a 42-year-old hospital worker, was hauled into a Phoenix courtroom on Monday following a Glendale police investigation into alleged child exploitation, Fox 10 reported.

Investigators were tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to explicit content that was being accessed through Lozano’s internet service provider, court documents revealed.

Authorities traced an account, a phone number and an IP address directly to the hospital worker and arrested him last Thursday, according to records.

During Monday’s hearing, Maricopa County prosecutor Ashley Stetson requested a $150,000 bail, and said that Lozano potentially faced 10 consecutive felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, the outlet reported.

The accused creep collapsed after hearing that each count carries a potential 10-year sentence to be served consecutively – meaning he could face a possible 100-year prison sentence, the local Fox affiliate station reported.

The proceeding was paused for medical personnel to aid Lozano, who was returned to police custody, according to the outlet.

Lozano’s attorney Michael Tamou asked that the court consider Lozano’s local ties and knock down the bail charges to $50,000, Fox 10 reported.

The judge ultimately set Lozano’s bond at $150,000.

If he posts bail, he’s still banned from contacting minors, possessing a smartphone or accessing the internet and is required to wear an electronic monitor, according to the publication.

Lozano is due back in court on September 21.

His attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
