Anti-ICE protestors armed with sex toys descended on a federal detention facility in downtown Los Angeles Saturday — hurling the X-rated items across security fencing in a stunt targeting immigration authorities.
The unruly scene unfolded around 12:30 p.m. along Alameda Street outside the Metropolitan Detention Center, prompting a swift response from the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officials said the gathering was not permitted and it quickly began snarling traffic between Aliso and Temple streets, KTLA reported.
Video circulating online, including clips shared by Frontlines TPUSA on X, captured protesters fastening the explicit objects to perimeter barriers and tossing them toward law enforcement vehicles while brandishing anti-ICE signs.
According to posts from the same account, the sex toys used in the demonstration were reportedly shipped in from Minneapolis, a city that has recently drawn national attention following multiple deadly ICE-related shootings and subsequent protests.
The footage showed a swelling crowd pressing against fencing near the facility’s entrances, chanting as officers stood watch nearby.

Authorities said the situation escalated, with some participants engaging in what police described as criminal activity.
The LAPD’s Central Division ultimately declared the protest an unlawful assembly, issuing dispersal orders and making arrests.
Road closures followed as police activity intensified, with Alameda Street between Aliso and Temple, as well as parts of nearby Commercial Street, shut down.
Drivers were warned to expect significant delays in the area.
