Prices of diesel fuel have gotten so high in California that they are breaking gas station displays.

Several California pumps showed their diesel prices maxed out at $9.99 a gallon, according to the crowdsourcing platform GasBuddy.

Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for the company, revealed that five gas stations in the Golden State had maxed-out diesel prices.
