Chelsea Green’s resume as a professional wrestler is nearly incomparable to anyone on the WWE women’s roster.
She was the first WWE women’s United States champion, she was a WWE women’s tag team champion, she won the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) Knockouts Championship, the National Wrestling Alliance’s Women’s Invitational Cup and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’s mixed tag team championship and has taken bump after bump after bump as she’s tried to realize her dream as a WWE women’s champion.

On Sunday night, the dream was realized.
Green outlasted Lash Legend, Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton and a beatdown from Michin and B-Fab to climb the ladder and capture the Interim WWE Women’s Championship. The crowd at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis went wild as Green celebrated the title win.

The interim title will go on Green’s resume as the official women’s champion, Rhea Ripley, has been out with an injury.
As Green sits on the top of the SmackDown roster, Ripley’s return could be imminent and the two would have to square off to determine the actual champion. But other challengers lurk in the shadows. Cargill, Legend and Flair have all proven to be formidable opponents. Stratton is already the women’s U.S. champion. Don’t sleep on Jacy Jayne and Blake Monroe either.
