Cops examining over 1M images taken from Philly house of horrors as fifth missing woman is ID’d

Philadelphia police are trawling through more than one million images taken from a house of horrors once owned by an infamous pornographer and suspected killer, as cops identify a fifth woman tied to the home.

The FBI has increased the number of agents assigned to the sprawling investigation tied to the former home of now-dead photographer Raymond “R.C.” Horsch and his son Eugene.

Following Eugene’s arrest in June, investigators made multiple disturbing discoveries at the home — including alleged snuff movies featuring R.C. and several missing women, vats of mysterious chemicals, and writings referencing serial killers.

Now, authorities and family members say they have identified Nicole Fusaro, who was 27 when she disappeared in 2018, as a fifth woman linked to the home in Olney, North Philly.

Fusaro’s family members have been meeting with Philadelphia police detectives, her cousin, Jonathan Halloran-Koren, told WPVI.

“Nicole was a beautiful, kindhearted woman who deserved so much better than what happened to her. She will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends,” Halloran Koren said.

Investigators previously said that an explicit “snuff movie” showing Raymond Horsch strangling an as-yet publicly unidentified woman was found in August.

Police said they had identified a family member of the victim and told them and said that the snuff movie was filmed inside the house.

Investigators have not confirmed whether Fusaro is the woman in this movie.

R.C. Horsch was an erotic photographer, convicted meth producer and self-described “sociopath” believed to have lured vulnerable female drug addicts to his home.

Some of the evidence retrieved from 50 seized hard drives from the home includes an alleged “snuff movie” showing a woman being strangled by R.C., who died in 2025 at age 82.

Cops began investigating the house after arresting R.C.’s 44-year-old son, Eugene, on June 19 on suspicion of impersonating federal agents and possessing guns with erased serials.

He was found in a car in Center City, Philly, with a woman who was carrying a fake ID for one of the missing women, Blair Tonzelli.

Tonzelli, a healthcare aide, disappeared from the city’s Kensington neighborhood in February 2023, aged 35.

A bank card in her name was found inside Horsch’s home, while a friend previously said Tonzelli described Eugene as a “sociopath” who spoke of dissolving bodies to flush down the toilet.

Police also discovered snuff movies purportedly showing two other missing women: Gabrielle Amarando, 22, who was last seen in 2012, and Maribel Fresses, 27, last seen in 2018.

R.C.’s ex-wife, Amy McHale, 44, who was last seen in June 2016, is the fifth missing woman connected to the house.

Investigators are continuing to examine the sewers under the property, as well as several chemical vats purchased by Eugene.

Documents found in the home include an unsigned handwritten note referencing serial killer Ted Bundy, as well as methods for disposing of trash.

Eugene, who was indicted in July on the gun and fake credentials charges, has not been charged with any crimes in relation to the five missing women.

The investigation continues.
