A bus has run off the road in Brisbane’s inner south shortly after 4pm on Monday, smashing into several power poles and parked cars before finally hitting a brick wall.

Shortly after 6pm the bus remained pulled over on Ipswich Road in Woolloongabba, where it had come to rest, and a tow truck was on scene.

Nine reported the bus left a trail of destruction spanning 50 metres along the side of Ipswich Road.
