Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged secret girlfriend had discussed having babies with the now-deceased pedophile — and once suggested he recruit women who were descendants of slaves, newly released emails show.
Messages in the Epstein files show New York-based Brit Shelley Lewis discussing her love with the disgraced financier even after he was convicted of having sex with an underage girl.
The author-turned-wellness entrepreneur, who is said to have dated Epstein in the early 2000s when she was just 22, also once sent him a link to a CNN article about the Gullah Geechee community — direct descendants of black slaves brought to the US in the 1700s.
“Where to find new help,” she wrote in the 2012 email, without elaborating further.
In other various messages, Lewis wrote to Epstein in 2010 that “I just gave you a great gift by enabling you to ‘do what you do’ gracefully” and told him in 2014: “Love you!!!”
Another one of her emails fired off in 2010 featured a photo of a tiny pig dressed as a tiger to which he replied: “Predator on the outside, gentle inside.. the opposite of what i have to deal with.”
And in one email exchange from 2017, Lewis referenced baby chat as she asked him when he was next in town to meet.
“Don’t worry, won’t put you on the spot about a baby,” she wrote.
There is no suggestion Lewis was aware of Epstein’s depravity when they in the midst of their email exchanges.
Here is the latest on Jeffrey Epstein documents released by DOJ:
She has never commented publicly on their alleged relationship.
Lewis, who was a frequent traveler on Epstein’s private jet, would have been 22 when she was said to have started dating Epstein back in 1999, when he was 46.
They are said to have met when she was working in the contemporary art department of Christie’s auction house in New York.
News of their dalliance first came to light following the arrest of Epstein’s madame, Ghislaine Maxwell, who pushed her ex to make clear that they were no longer an item.
“I would appreciate it if Shelley would come out and say she was your g’friend – I think she was from end [19]99 to 2002,” Maxwell had written to Epstein in 2015 in a previously released email.
Epstein responded at the time, “OK with me.”
