Everything to Know About Beth and Rip’s ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff ‘Dutton Ranch’: Premiere Date, Cameos

Beth and Rip’s love story will stand the test of time — especially with Yellowstone spinoff series in the works.

Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser originated the characters of Beth and Rip, respectively, when Yellowstone premiered in 2018. After the show came to an end in December 2024, it was announced that the onscreen couple would be returning for their own show. The dynamic duo will continue to be Montana’s power couple on an unnamed series.

“Well, first of all, it’s not Dutton Ranch. That’s not the name of it,” Hauser said during a May 2025 interview with Fox News Digital, clarifying that the show’s title has yet to be revealed. (However, it’s been referred to as Dutton Ranch colloquially and it later became the official title.)

“We can expect the same that we’ve been doing for the last seven years,” he added of the series. “Kelly and I going and working our ass off trying to create something special.”

The Yellowstone final season ended with Beth and Rip moving to a smaller ranch in a different part of Montana along with their adopted son, Carter (Finn Little). The new series will offer an inside look at their life without the wider Dutton family drama. But with Beth involved, there is sure to be some kind of chaos in the works.

Keep scrolling for everything to know about Beth and Rip’s spinoff series:

Which ‘Yellowstone’ Stars Are Returning?

Both Reilly and Hauser will be reprising their roles from the original Yellowstone series.

What Will Beth and Rip’s ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff Be About?

The show’s official logline reveals that Beth and Rip are “grateful for peace” after they “sought, fought, and nearly died for with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch.” Now, “with tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s supposed to be,” the show’s description added.

Who Else Is Starring in Beth and Rip’s ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff?

This is, of course, a show in the wider Taylor Sheridan universe, so there are some a-listers joining the cast.

Annette Bening was the first new cast member to be announced in August 2025. She is set to appear as Beulah Jackson, “the powerful, cunning, and charming head of a major ranch in Texas.”

The following month brought two major casting announcements. Ed Harris will appear as Everett McKinney, “a weathered veteran and veterinarian who treats animals with compassion and understanding and has a good sense of humor.” Jai Courtney was also cast in September 2025 as Rob-Will. His character has been described as “an imposing, unpredictable ranch foreman.”

October 2025 brought some more announcements about the upcoming series. Natalie Alyn Lind joined the cast as Oreana, said to be “a striking young woman with a wild and free spirit.” Marc Menchaca will appear as Zachariah, “a newly released jailbird trying to rebuild his life as a wrangler and cowboy.” Juan Pablo Raba was cast as Joaquin, “a worker at a major ranch who fixes problems, big or small.” Lastly, JR Villarreal is going to be Azul, “a whipcord wrangler and Rip’s right-hand man.”

When Will Beth and Rip’s Spinoff Show Premiere?

The series — which is titled Dutton Ranch — is set to air via Paramount+ on May 15, 2026.

“As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together — far from the ghosts of Yellowstone — they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire,” read the show synopsis. “In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”
