Erin Piacenti ‘s family has raised over $1 million for her baby girl after she was fatally stabbed in New York City’s Times Square following her first day back to work from maternity leave.

Piacenti, 32, just finished her first day back to work as a vice president at the Bank of America when Pamela Cisneros fatally stabbed her in the abdomen. She died just five months after she and her husband, Frank Piacenti , welcomed their first child, a daughter, together.

Following her death, Erin’s loved ones set up a GoFundMe to help raise money for her daughter in the aftermath of the tragedy.
