A deadly airplane crash in San Diego, California, on Monday killed the two people on board.

Video footage shows the fiery aftermath as a plume of thick, black smoke billowed out from the wrecked Cessna at the Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provided preliminary information to Fox News Digital which stated, “A Cessna 172 crashed while landing at Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in California around 5:15 p.m. local time on Monday, Sept. 7.
