A teenage girl missing from Brisbane’s north has prompted police calls for public help less than 12 hours after she was last seen.
The 13-year-old went missing about 5.30pm on Sunday in Everton Hills, about 25 kilometres from her home in Rothwell, in Moreton Bay.
Police issued an appeal for public information on Monday morning about 4am, and said the girl’s family had concerns for her welfare due to her young age.
Officers said she was known to frequent North Lakes Shopping Centre and the Redcliffe Jetty.
She was described as Caucasian, of slim build with red-tinted shoulder-length hair, and a gap shaved into an eyebrow.
She was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue mini denim shorts with black Nike TNs shoes.
