Irish authorities are reportedly seeking a warrant to extradite the primary suspect in the brutal murder of Jamey Carney, a 43-year-old New York mother found beaten and suffocated in her Killarney home last month.

Carney, who documented her life abroad as a “New Yorker in Ireland,” was discovered by her teenage daughter on July 7.

Investigators believe her partner, a Jordanian national seeking asylum in Ireland, beat her to death before fleeing the country on a last-minute flight to Istanbul and eventually traveling to Jordan, where he was subsequently detained.
