A scary moment occurred in New Jersey on Tuesday when a joint training camp practice between the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers was halted due to an apparent medical emergency.

A Jets player, later revealed to be cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers, was taken off the practice field at the team’s facility in Florham Park in an ambulance.

According to ESPN, Stiggers was given an IV while on the turf.

Head coach Aaron Glenn said Stiggers came to the bench after a play and “passed out” but was conscious. Glenn then praised the medical staff.

Glenn added that Stiggers is “able to talk” and is “for the most part…good.”
