Lil Nas X is mourning the death of his mother, Tameka Hill , amid his ongoing recovery and sobriety journey.

“RIP TO THE BADDEST EVER! LOVE U FOREVER, MOMMY,” Lil Nas X, 27, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, August 29, alongside throwback photos of Hill. “This one’s gonna hurt.”
