Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman were the poster couple for Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum before their split in April 2026.
The pair met on a blind date in July 2021, as seen on season 1 of the reality show, which follows individuals on the autism spectrum in their quests for love. Abbey and David quickly became a fan favorite duo, going on to appear in seasons 2 through 4.
Throughout the course of their nearly five-year romance, Abbey and David spoke about wanting to get married someday. But weeks before their split, Abbey seemingly hinted that she and David had different thoughts about tying the knot.
“I do [love him],” she said on the “We Need to Talk” podcast in March 2026. “But he’s not ready to get married. There’s a difference. I do want to be married, but I just don’t want to rush it. I just don’t know when.”
