Lunar New Year: Four signs blessed by love in 2026’s Year of the Fire Horse

The Year of the Fire Horse is upon us, and four zodiac signs stand to ride that pyro pony straight into the light of love.

“As the dynamic Fire Horse year of 2026 gallops in, it brings a wave of passionate energy perfect for forging deep connections,” Hong Kong-based certified counselor and award-winning astrologist Letao Wang told The Post.

“While every sign will experience its own romantic rhythms, four zodiac animals receive particularly auspicious celestial blessings, setting the stage for a year of significant love, attraction, and partnership,” the counselor continued. “Let’s explore the lucky signs destined to find their hearts ablaze.”

The Rabbit (1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011)

Wang explains that for Rabbits, 2026 will be illuminated by the Tianxi Star, or the “Star of Heavenly Joy.”

“This is a profoundly auspicious star for marriage and blissful celebrations,” he stated. “It doesn’t just signal mild luck; it often points toward events of great happiness, such as engagements, weddings, or the birth of a child.”

He notes that for bunnies looking for love, this energy magnetizes serious, commitment-oriented partners that carry the torch of fate.

“You’re likely to attract relationships that feel destined, harmonious, and full of mutual respect,” Wange declared. “For those already paired, it’s a year to renew vows, deepen your bond, and experience a renewed sense of joy and companionship. Your gentle nature, amplified by this star, makes you a beacon for sincere love.”

The Rooster(1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017)

“The Rooster steps into 2026 under the brilliant glow of the Hongluan Star, or the ‘Red Phoenix Star.’ This is the classic star of marriage and romantic union in Chinese astrology,” explained Wang.

He notes that when the Red Phoenix arrives, it often brings kismet encounters and a deep pull towards long-term devotion.

“Your social circle will be your gateway, with friends likely playing cupid. This year, you radiate a charismatic and attractive energy that’s hard to ignore. It’s a time to be open, social, and say ‘yes’ to invitations,” he theorized.

Wang shared that single cocks are likely to find a profound connection this year.

“For those in relationships, it’s the ideal year to formalize your partnership, as the Hongluan Star favors ceremonies and promises that stand the test of time,” the astrologist asserted.

The Goat (1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015)

In 2026, Goats have the powerful Taiyang Star, or the “Sun Star,” shining on and through them.

“Traditionally, this yang energy brings the support of important and influential men into your life. For those seeking a male partner, this influence is especially pronounced, making 2026 a standout year for such meaningful encounters,” said Wang.

He shared that in matters of the heart, this translates to meeting rock-steady partners whose protection and support can be relied upon.

“You may also find that male friends, family members, or mentors become instrumental in introducing you to your match,” he said. “For single Goats, look for someone who offers stability and genuine encouragement—a partner who helps you shine. In existing relationships, this star fosters a healthy, supportive dynamic in which both partners feel valued and empowered. It’s about finding warmth, security, and growth within a partnership.”

The Snake: (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013)

Wang said that the love lives of Snake folk will be influenced by the presence of the Xianchi Star, often translated as the “Pool of Romance” or “Peach Blossom Star.”

“This star amplifies your allure, charm, and social magnetism, making you exceptionally attractive to others. It promises a year rich with romantic opportunities, flirtation, and heightened social pleasures.”

However, he notes that Xianchi energy is often about the journey of attraction itself brining intense encounters that can prove fleeting unless they are consciously nurtured into something deeper.

“The key for Snakes is to enjoy the increased attention and fun, but to use your innate wisdom to discern which connections have true substance,” he posited. “This is a year to explore, understand your own desires, and potentially find a captivating partner who matches your intellectual and sensual depth.”
