A man has been arrested after an alleged armed robbery south of Brisbane.
Police received a report a 48-year-old man was assaulted whilst in his vehicle in a car park on Boundary Street in Beenleigh about 11pm on Thursday.
His attacker allegedly stole his car keys and cash before fleeing.
Officers arrested a 24-year-old man a short time later on nearby Beverley Street.
He was allegedly found in possession of a knife and ammunition.
The 48-year-old man was taken to Logan Hospital suffering a minor injury.
The 24-year-old was hit with a string of charges including armed robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm, wilful damage, attempting to enter a premises, possession of a knife, and authority to possess explosives.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 21.
