The Republican National Committee is escalating its fight with New Jersey election officials over voter roll records, threatening legal action as it seeks information related to noncitizens found on the state’s rolls.
The RNC sent formal National Voter Registration Act violation notices Wednesday to New Jersey’s secretary of state, and election officials in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties.
