Sandra Bullock often hears unfiltered hard truths from her children.

“Laila is brutal. I was getting on a Zoom, and she walks by, and she went, ‘You know, you can put a filter on that,’” Bullock, 62, recalled on the Thursday, September 3, episode of the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast , referring to her 12-year-old daughter. “She goes, ‘You know, you can make yourself look better.’ She just types and she slides, and she goes, ‘Put it right there.’ It was like literally someone had taken Vaseline and smeared on the lens and put a sheet in front of my face … and it’s the honesty I appreciate.”
