Stephen Amell isn’t a regular dad, he’s a cool dad — and one who lets his kids live at the beach all in the name of Baywatch .

Amell, who plays Hobie Buchannon on the upcoming Fox reboot of the iconic TV series, exclusively told Us on Monday, September 14, that his family joined him in Venice, California, while he was shooting the lifeguard-focused show.

“It was really cool because it’s one of those opportunities, like, as a family, it was like summer camp where you go on an adventure,” he recalled of their temporary relocation while walking the 2026 Emmy Awards red carpet.
