A teenage boy accused of killing his Oklahoma mom bludgeoned her with a hammer so savagely that her head and face were deformed in the attack, court documents revealed.
Jordan Weems, 16, was charged with murder after chillingly admitting to cops he ambushed and struck mom-of-five Spring Weems, 49, and then brutalized her with more than a dozen blows after she fell, according to prosectors.
Spring, who was Weems’ adoptive mom, was found Jan. 28 dumped in a garbage can at the family’s $340,000 home in the Oklahoma City suburb of Edmond.
Weems allegedly put her body in the can before rolling it to the curb.
Weems allegedly killed Spring five years after writing a gushing note that said how much he loved her.
“Dear mom, I love you because you are smart, kind and you are very loving. That’s what I love about you,” the note from 2021, which was signed Jordan Weems when he was 11, said.
Prosecutors described a cold-blooded surprise attack, which Weems plotted after making threats against Spring days earlier.
“The facts and evidence show that this was not a crime of passion or an instantaneous decision,” prosecutors said.
Court docs added: “The evidence shows massive damage to the face and head of the victim by a blunt object, deforming the head and face of the victim and causing her apparent death.”
High school student Weems allegedly bludgeoned his adoptive mom to death after she came upon him unexpectedly in the kitchen of the family home.
He is also accused of fabricating evidence and lying to the rest of his family to cover up the killing.
Just one day before her body was found, Weems allegedly told one sibling that she was helping their older sister with her new baby — an attempt to deflect questions about why Spring hasn’t been seen, according to docs.
The sister said she had not seen Spring either.
Weems has been charged with first-degree murder and faces life in prison if convicted.
