The Chainsmokers have sparked fury after they tried to brush off concerns that more than a dozen people at a California show needed to be hospitalized.

The San Jose Police Department said 14 patients were hospitalized for a variety of reasons, including “suspected alcohol intoxication and drug-related issues.”

But the group didn’t mention it in a post about the concert. “Damn San Jose this show was chaos!!!!! Will bring a louder horn next time that’s on us,” they wrote in an Instagram post.

Commenters quickly pounced on the obliviousness of the post. “Didn’t like 14 people get hospitalized??” one person wrote.
