President Trump said he is “happy” that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the United States to resettle in England, adding if he were the royal family “I would not have taken them back.”

“I’m happy about it,” the president told reporters in the Oval Office when asked about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex departure from California. “I was not a fan.”

He particularly singled out Markle for her behavior to the late Queen Elizabeth II and her treatment of King Charles.
