President Trump plans to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks at the Pentagon next month, The Post has learned.
Trump is not expected to attend the Manhattan memorial service held annually at Ground Zero, the site of the World Trade Center towers that were brought down by the two hijacked airplanes, according to a source familiar.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump had been expected to be part of the Ground Zero ceremony as recently as Aug. 14, sources said.
It’s unclear why the president’s plans changed.
