Twisted Florida woman, 79, flashes happy-go-lucky grin after 1-year-old allegedly sickened by meth-laced sippy cup

A septuagenarian from Florida flashed a carefree grin in her mugshot on charges that she and three others let a 1-year-old drink a meth-filled sippy cup — then refused to call 911 when the tot became sick, police said.

Judith Addison’s shameless mugshot was revealed by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office after the twisted, 79-year-old caretaker was charged and booked for allegedly exposing the child to the deadly drug.

The three others who were arrested — Hayden Simmons, 21, Damien Windham, 21, and Erica Foley, 45 — were far less chipper in their booking photos.

Simmons and Windham have been together since at least September 2023 and have a child together, according to their Facebook profiles. Officials have not confirmed whether the 1-year-old involved is theirs.

The child drank from a “sippy cup” that the parents later discovered contained a hidden bag of meth at a home in Callahan on Feb. 24, according to police.

Despite realizing that the child might have ingested the potentially deadly drug, neither of the child’s parents nor any of the other residents in the home immediately called 911, cops said.

Only when the child started vomiting did the mother finally take the toddler to a local fire station. Officials then rushed the child to a hospital “for treatment of a possible overdose.”

Police searched the home and discovered several glass pipes with meth residue and other drug paraphernalia.

Simmons, Windham, Foley and Addison, who lived at the home, were arrested and charged with child neglect and causing serious bodily injury.

Foley faces an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

“This is a heartbreaking and completely preventable situation. A 1-year-old child was exposed to a dangerous, illegal drug because the adults in that home failed to provide even the most basic level of care and protection,” Sheriff Bill Leeper said in a statement.

“There is absolutely no excuse for methamphetamine to be within reach of a child.”
