Two dead bodies were found on separate city subway trains within a few hours Sunday, with the grisly discoveries now under investigation, according to police.
A man believed to be in his 20s was found dead aboard a train on the No. 7 line at 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue near Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan in the afternoon, cops and law-enforcement sources said.
Earlier Sunday, in the late morning, a man believed to be in his 50s was found on a train at the 36th Street station in Brooklyn, with drug paraphernalia next to him, sources told The Post.
The city medical examiner is scheduled to perform autopsies on both men to determine cause of death.
The disturbing incidents come as at least 17 people have died in the Big Apple during the recent cold snap, which has driven many of the city’s homeless into transit system stations and trains.
