Chilling video shows a knife-wielding maniac knocking on a stranger’s door and threatening to kill him “in the name of Allah” — and then chasing his terrified daughter.
Homeowners Andy and Tiffany Miller shared doorbell footage of the terrifying Easter Sunday showdown that ended with Anthony Long, 23, being arrested for aggravated menacing and trespassing, FOX19 reported.
The footage showed the stranger in shorts and a red jacket initially bending down in prayer in the driveway of the Millers’ Franklin Township home as they slept.
He then casually strolls up to their front door with his hand in his jacket pocket, ringing the doorbell and knocking several times.
“I woke up and walked up thinking my daughter was locked out and… It was a man I didn’t know,” Tiffany Miller recalled. “We did not respond, and again he went back to his car.”
Eventually, though, Andy Miller went out to check on the stranger, with the footage showing him politely asking, “Hey bud, you knocking on the door?”
The knifeman then walked toward him, saying, “I’ll kill you in the name of Allah.”
“The man immediately exited his vehicle, began making explicit threats to kill him, repeatedly invoking religious language, and started moving closer in an aggressive manner,” Tiffany Miller said in a social media post Monday.
Miller ran away at seeing the stranger pull a knife — and yelled out warnings to his daughter, who had just pulled up in her car.
The suspect gave chase, but the Miller’s daughter was able to get away, according to the family.
“This was a terrifying encounter, and we are grateful no one was harmed last night,” the mom added.
Long, from Cincinnati, was arrested soon after the terrifying showdown after allegedly trying to ram another stranger’s vehicle in nearby Clearcreek.
A knife matching the one seen in the video was found in his possession, according to authorities.
He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated menacing and aggravated trespassing.
Long is being held in the Warren County Jail on a $75,000 bond for the Franklin Township incident, as well as an additional $1,500 cash-only bond for the Clearcreek incident.
It was not clear why he picked the Millers’ home.
