The capital of corporate vests and “foot condoms” has landed one of the world’s top high-fashion events — as Vogue revealed San Francisco as the site of its Vogue World event next year.

“ Vogue believes in celebrating cities, and San Francisco is a city like none other,” said Anna Wintour, Condé Nast’s chief content officer and the global editorial director of Vogue ,” in a statement.

“It’s a place of diverse communities living side by side, a place that loves the arts, loves creativity, and isn’t afraid of change.”
