Francesca Hong, the socialist Democrat running for Wisconsin governor, who once ranted about axing Thanksgiving because it’s “celebrating colonialism” — now is bizarrely claiming it’s her favorite holiday.

The gubernatorial hopeful walked back her since-deleted November 2021 “cancel Thanksgiving” post in an interview on Politico’s Playbook podcast Wednesday.

“My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving,” Hong quipped. “Yup. I don’t want to cancel it, I actually love it.”

She admitted to host Irie Senter that Thanksgiving is a “big event” with her family but added that she is “kind of a curmudgeon when it comes to holidays in general.”
