18-year-old tutor accused of sexually abusing girl, 7, at Long Island library

A creep tutor allegedly sexually abused a 7-year-old girl inside a Long Island library on multiple occasions, according to authorities.

Taylor Lindberg, 18, was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child for the disturbing incidents that unfolded inside the Port Washington Public Library in May, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Lindberg was tutoring the 7-year-old girl when he allegedly sexually abused her on May 11, according to court documents obtained by WABC.

A week later, he told the victim, “I have a secret,” and escorted her into the basement of the library, where he sexually abused her once again and took photos of her with his phone, the documents alleged.

Lindberg was arraigned on Wednesday and had his bail set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.

He was later released after posting the large sum, the outlet reported.

Detectives are now urging anyone who may have been a victim of the tutor to come forward and contact the Special Victims Squad at 516-573-4022 or Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
