Brooks Nader is setting the record straight regarding her relationship status after those Taron Egerton kissing pictures.
“I’m just single, having fun,” Nader, 29, told TMZ on Wednesday, June 24. “Always.”
When pressed further, Nader made it clear that “nothing” happened between her and Egerton, 36.
“I’m just going on fun dates,” she explained. “But not with anyone right now.”
Nader, who chatted with the outlet while visiting Venice Beach, said she’s focused on “working” at the moment. The model is currently filming for the upcoming Baywatch reboot.
“I’m just baywatching,” she quipped. “That’s it.”
Nader and Egerton sparked romance rumors this past March when they were spotted out and about in Los Angeles on multiple occasions.
Nader and Egerton first reported outing occurred late that month, when they appeared to be on a movie date to see Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary. One day after Nader and Egerton were photographed packing on the PDA at several restaurants in L.A.
A source told Us Weekly in April that Nader and Egerton had “very natural” chemistry.
“Brooks doesn’t want to be tied down right now but is definitely enjoying time with him and seeing where things go,” the insider continued. “He is very charming and she likes that he is a gentleman.”
The source noted that they had gone on “several dates” after meeting at a party with mutual friends.
“It is still new but he is someone that has definitely caught her eye and kept her interested,” they added.
As April continued, Nader was spotted kissing Egerton during a beach date in Australia, where he was filming the upcoming crime drama, Kockraoch. Photos showed the duo holding hands as they again packed on the PDA.
It’s unclear when things fizzled out between them, but Nader teased her “new era” to Us exclusively while attending The Daily Front Row‘s 10th annual Fashion Awards on April 14.
“I’m eating a lot healthier and I’m not partying as much, which, you know me, that’s pretty hard,” she gushed at the time. “But I’m doing it, and I’m working out a lot and taking care of my mind, body, that whole situation.”
Nader also teased her role on Baywatch, calling it a “pinch-me moment.”
“It’s been amazing,” she said of the show. “Every time I put it on every single day, even if it’s 4 a.m., I still well up a little, and I’m like, ‘Let’s do this!’”
