Dancing With the Stars fans just got their first major update on what’s next for the franchise ahead of season 35.
Season 33 winner Joey Graziadei and numerous DWTS pros appeared on the Tuesday, February 10, episode of Good Morning America to announce the Ultimate DWTS Fan Convention.
“The big announcement is that we are going to have the first-ever Dancing With the Stars convention,” the former Bachelor, 30, explained. “All the pros will be there, you’ll have some of your favorite celebs. It’s gonna be a full, immersive experience.”
Pro Witney Carson added, “It’s really cool because it’s never been done before. And like Joey said, it’s a three-day, immersive [experience] — an amazing convention that we’re really excited about. You’re gonna have access to pros and celebrities, which is really fun, and we’re just really excited to see you guys there.”
Ginger Zee, who is one of the celebrities set to participate, joked that she’s “rusty” but excited to brush up on her dancing skills at the convention. (She finished in third place on DWTS season 22 in 2016.)
“The Dancing With the Stars fans are the absolute best, and I have watched this show grow, which is amazing to see,” Zee, 45, said on Tuesday. “And to be able to spend more time with this family, I had to say yes.”
Pro Val Chmerkovskiy, meanwhile, joked that attendees will get to see Jan Ravnik “without a shirt.”
According to a press release, the Ultimate DWTS Fan Convention will take place from July 31 to August 2 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California, with live dance performances, panels, interactive photo experiences and so much more.
Plenty of fan-favorite pros and celebs — from Jenna Johnson and Rylee Arnold to Johnny Weir and Whitney Leavitt — are set to participate in the three-day event, along with judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
In addition to Graziadei, Carson, Zee, Ravnik and Chmerkovskiy, the cast includes Brandon Armstrong, Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten, Hailey Bills, Hannah Brown, Sharna Burgess, Sasha Farber, Danielle Fishel, Xochitl Gomez, Elaine Hendrix, Rashad Jennings, Daniella Karagach, Amanda Kloots, Phaedra Parks, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, JoJo Siwa, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Britt Stewart, Rumer Willis and Kristi Yamaguchi.

Jared Paul of Faculty Productions added in a statement, “We are so excited to bring Dancing With the Stars fans a truly once-in-a-lifetime event. For the first time ever, we’ll assemble the largest cast of pro dancers, mirrorball champions, and fan-favorite celebrities from throughout the show’s 20-year history for an action-packed, full-weekend experience that will thrill audiences. When everyone is under one roof, anything can happen — and we can’t wait to bring the ballroom to life this summer in Palm Springs.”

The news comes after DWTS broke records with its 34th season, which aired from September to November 2025. The season finale saw Robert Irwin and Carson, 32, taking home the mirrorball trophy, with 9.24 million viewers tuning in — the largest finale audience in nine years.
Robert, 22, won the competition 10 years after his sister, Bindi Irwin, was crowned the champion on season 21.
“To follow in those footsteps and to do the same has meant everything to me,” he told People after the finale. “This has absolutely changed my life.”
He also shared a sweet message to Carson for helping him through the ups and downs of his ballroom journey.
“I’m just so grateful that I was here on this journey with Witney. You’ve got me forever,” he said. “Witney pours her heart and soul into this, and I’m just so happy that we are here.”
Carson — who previously won DWTS with Alfonso Ribeiro during season 19 — gushed that she “can’t think of anyone more deserving” than Robert to take home the trophy.
“I feel like I’ve been so proud of you week to week, and just to see you shine has been one of my biggest highlights in my life, and I just am so, so proud of you,” she said at the time.
Fans have been eager for more DWTS since season 34 came to an end. Several of the pros — and some fan-favorite celebs from the season — have hit the road on the annual live tour, which kicked off in Ohio last month.
Before Tuesday’s big announcement, former pro Lindsay, 32, teased something special was on the way in an “unexpected life update” shared via TikTok.
“Just recently, something has come up that I really did not think was gonna be part of my pregnancy journey,” said Lindsay, who is expecting baby No. 3 with husband Sam Cusick. “I can’t really tell you that much about it. … I got a call about a week ago about something very, very exciting that is coming this summer, it’s going to be very fun.”
Lindsay pointed out that she “will be freshly postpartum” when the new opportunity begins, but she’s excited to be “part of it in some capacity.”
She further teased that “there may or may not be dancing involved” when it comes to promoting the reveal. “And I said yes, I would love to dance at 22 weeks pregnant,” she joked. “So that is happening. … It’s been quite a funny whirlwind.”
In the caption, Lindsay joked, “I’ll guess we will find out if she’s still got the moves 😅😂💃.”
