A booth inside a small North Hollywood restaurant has become a must-see attraction for fans of the hit movie “Obsession,” with crowds flocking to Little Toni’s to recreate a viral scene that has exploded across social media.
The longtime eatery has seen an influx of moviegoers eager to snap photos at the exact booth featured in a key scene from the film, which has become one of the movie’s most talked-about moments online.
“It’s like an iconic shot in the movie, and it kind of blew up everywhere,” Ana Abad of Norwalk told ABC7.
Kenneth Nguyen from Arleta was one of the many visitors. He said he recognized the spot from the movie right away.
“It was that famous scene where the girl in the movie goes, ‘No, no, no!’” Nguyen said.
Little Toni’s staff told the network that the attention has led to a surge in customers, many of whom arrived with cameras in hand. Some fans said they specifically visited the restaurant to recreate the viral scene.
“I thought it would be cool to see it in person,” Cooper Harris Jacobsen said.
For Monte Bradford of Cypress, a stop at the restaurant became part of a date outing.
“It’s definitely going on my Instagram,” he said.
Others said the visit was a spur-of-the-moment decision.
“I just came up and was like, ‘Yo, should we go check it out?’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah, why not?’” Joaquin Martinez of Northridge told the outlet.
The demand for the booth has become so intense that some visitors are ordering meals so they can sit there themselves.
“Everyone just stared at us, like, ‘Wow, you got the spot!’” Nguyen said.
Though “Obsession” is a love story, the film also features unsettling moments that have become a talking point among fans.
“We just thought it would be a fun thing to see as a couple, seeing as the movie is about a couple that’s crazy,” Bradford said.
For some fans, sitting in the famous booth came with an eerie feeling.
“I kind of felt like she was behind me,” Alleh Zadourian of La Crescenta explained.
Obsession is a supernatural psychological horror-comedy film that hit theaters last month.
The story follows a lonely, socially awkward young man who breaks a supernatural “One Wish Willow” to force his longtime coworker and friend to fall in love with him.
