Former Little Caesars employee arrested after breaking into shop, making pizzas for customers

It was a slice too far.

A former Little Caesars employee was arrested in North Carolina for allegedly breaking into the fast-food chain twice — including once to make and sell pizzas to customers, according to authorities.

Jonathon Hacket, 41, was arrested on Sunday after officers responded to a report of a break-in at one of the pizza chain’s locations, according to the Kinston Police Department.

Hacket, a former employee at the pizza joint, had “unlawfully entered the business on two separate occasions,” police learned.

During the first incident, Hackett allegedly busted in, prepared pizzas, sold them to customers, and pocketed the proceeds, police said.

Hackett made and sold ten pizzas, raking in $50, according to warrants obtained by WITN.

Later, employees allegedly tried to prevent the dough dealer from entering the store a second time — sparking a physical altercation.

He was treated at UNC Lenoir for injuries he sustained during the fight and was later taken into custody. He was booked at the Lenoir County Jail in Kinston.

Hackett’s mugshot showed his eye completely swollen shut, possibly from the scuffle at the pizza place.

He has been hit with a slew of charges, including breaking and entering, obtaining property by false pretenses, larceny after breaking and entering, and a city curfew violation, cops said.

“It was very strange, you know, it’s nothing I’d ever heard of,” Kinston Police Chief Keith Goyette told the local outlet.

“It’s nothing we’ve ever seen, you know, in my 26 years of law enforcement here in Kinston. So, this was a head scratcher and a first for us.“

Little Caesars did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
